Why Salt Lake City Homeowners Work With Us

Salt Lake City and the surrounding Wasatch Front are the biggest market in the Intermountain West, and many of our Idaho and Wyoming clients keep a home here. We build for Avenues and Sugar House remodels as well as new homes in the south valley.

Salt Lake City is on our regular northern Utah route. Design happens by phone, email, or at our Idaho Falls showroom; measuring and installation happen at your home.

Northern Utah homes see cold winters and dry summers much like Idaho. Our finishes and construction methods are proven in exactly this climate.

Salt Lake City Countertops FAQs

How much do new countertops cost in Salt Lake City?

Countertops are priced by the square foot plus edge profile, sink cutouts, and installation. Quartz and granite typically fall in a similar range, butcher block is usually less, and marble or specialty stone is more. We measure your Salt Lake City kitchen and give you a written estimate before you commit to anything.

Do you install countertops in Salt Lake City?

Salt Lake City is on our regular northern Utah route. Design happens by phone, email, or at our Idaho Falls showroom; measuring and installation happen at your home.

Granite or quartz: which should I choose?

Quartz is non-porous, never needs sealing, and comes in consistent colors, so it wins for low maintenance. Granite is natural, heat tolerant, and unique slab to slab. We stock samples of both and will walk you through the trade-offs for how your kitchen is used.

How long does countertop installation take?

After templating, stone countertops are usually fabricated in one to two weeks and installed in a single day. Butcher block built in our shop follows a similar schedule. If we are also building your cabinets, everything is scheduled together.

Do countertops hold up in the Utah climate?

Northern Utah homes see cold winters and dry summers much like Idaho. Our finishes and construction methods are proven in exactly this climate. Quartz and granite are unaffected by temperature swings; butcher block is finished on all sides so it stays stable through dry winters.
