We fabricate granite, quartz, and butcher block too, so your counters are templated to the cabinets we built and installed on the same schedule.
Cabinet refacing & door replacement
When your cabinet boxes are structurally sound but the doors and finish are dated, we reface them with new doors, drawer fronts, and hardware for a fraction of a full replacement. Offered when our shop calendar allows — ask about current availability.

Custom Cabinets FAQs
What does "custom" actually mean at Oaken Cupboard?
It means we start from your measurements and your wish list, not a catalog. Box sizes, door styles, drawer layouts, interior fittings, and finishes are all built specifically for your project in our Idaho Falls shop.
How far do you travel for cabinet projects?
Our home market is Southeast Idaho, and we regularly serve Western Wyoming and Northern Utah. We also build for Southwest Montana and Arizona, typically full kitchens or whole-home packages, and travel or ship for installation.
How long does a custom kitchen take?
Most kitchens are in production for six to ten weeks after the design is approved, with installation taking two to four days. We give you a written schedule up front.
Do you offer free estimates?
Yes. We measure in your home or work from your plans, then provide a detailed written quote at no charge and with no obligation.
Do you reface cabinets?
Yes — when your cabinet boxes are solid but the doors and finish are dated, we build new doors and drawer fronts, refinish the boxes, and add hardware for a fraction of a full replacement. Refacing is offered when our shop calendar allows, so ask us about current scheduling.
Do you handle cabinet installation?
Yes. Every cabinet we build is installed by our own crew, and installation is part of every custom cabinet quote. If you have cabinets from elsewhere you need installed, ask us and we will tell you straight whether it is a project we can take on.
