About the Shop

A Full-Service Wood & Stone Shop — 20+ Years Running

We design, build, and install custom cabinetry, countertops, and furniture from our 10,000 sq ft Idaho Falls workshop. Residential, commercial, and everything in between.

Who We Are

Oaken Cupboard Co. has been building custom woodwork for clients across the Intermountain West for over two decades. What started as a focused cabinet shop has grown into a full-service wood and stone operation — covering everything from granite countertop fabrication to one-of-a-kind custom furniture commissions.

We're based in Idaho Falls and serve Southeast Idaho, Western Wyoming, and Northern Utah. That's our territory, and we know it well — the contractors, the timelines, the drive times. We don't subcontract the work out. Our team designs it, builds it in our shop, and installs it ourselves.

The result: fewer handoffs, tighter tolerances, and a cleaner finished product.

What We Handle

Six service categories, all built in-house.

01

Residential Kitchens

Complete kitchen remodels — cabinets, countertops, and islands — for homeowners across our three-state area.

02

Bathroom Renovations

Custom vanities, floating shelves, and integrated storage for bathrooms of every size.

03

Built-in Storage

Entertainment walls, home offices, library systems, and closet buildouts that disappear into the architecture.

04

Custom Furniture

Dining tables, bedroom sets, and one-off pieces built to your specs — not from a catalog.

05

Commercial Buildouts

Restaurants, offices, retail spaces, and multi-unit housing projects handled at scale.

06

Stone & Countertops

Granite, quartz, butcher block, marble, and concrete surfaces — templated, cut, and installed.

Our workshop with precision machinery

The Workshop

10,000 square feet in Idaho Falls — and it's not a showroom. It's a production facility equipped with machinery most shops in this region don't have: a high-end Italian CNC machining center, a full in-house paint booth, climate-controlled lumber storage, and a complete suite of precision joinery equipment.

This level of equipment means tighter tolerances, faster turnaround, and finishes that rival anything you'd find in a major metro market. Clients are welcome to come in and see their project taking shape at any point during the build.

  • Italian CNC machining center
  • In-house paint booth
  • Climate-controlled lumber storage
  • Precision joinery and edgebanding machinery
  • Traditional hand-tool workbenches
  • QC inspection before every delivery

How We Work

No subcontracting

Our team builds it and our team installs it. You know exactly who's working on your project.

Straight quotes

We give you a real number up front, not a low estimate that grows through the project.

Sustainable sourcing

We source lumber responsibly and minimize waste in the shop. Good work shouldn't cost the forest.

Built to last

Solid wood construction, premium hardware, quality finishes. We build pieces that outlast the house trend.

Let's Build Something

Tell us about your project and we'll get back to you with a real conversation, not a form letter.
