We build custom storage solutions for every room in your Idaho Falls home — designed around your actual space, not a box-store shelf unit that almost fits.
Mudroom & Entry Storage
Coat hooks, bench seating with hidden cubbies, locker-style individual sections, and overhead cabinets. Built to handle the volume of gear an Idaho Falls family accumulates for every season.
Entertainment Centers & Media Walls
Floor-to-ceiling media walls with TV mounting, component housing, speaker integration, and display shelving. Cord management built in — no dangling cables.
Home Office Built-ins & Desks
Built-in desk surfaces, overhead shelving, file drawer towers, and bookcase sections. Designed to make a dedicated office or a bedroom corner actually function as a workspace.
Walk-in Closet Systems
Custom closet layouts with double-hang sections, long hang for dresses and coats, drawer stacks, shoe shelving, and adjustable shelves. Built from solid wood, not wire and particle board.
Fireplace Surrounds & Mantels
Custom millwork around gas and wood-burning fireplaces — built-in bookcases flanking a mantel, or a complete entertainment surround with the fireplace as the centerpiece.
Pantry Towers & Utility Storage
Floor-to-ceiling pantry cabinets, laundry room built-ins, and utility storage that make everyday household logistics less chaotic.
Window Seats & Reading Nooks
Built-in bench seating under windows with hinged-lid storage below — a functional use of perimeter space that also becomes the best seat in the room.
Built-in Bookshelves
Wall-to-wall, floor-to-ceiling bookshelves built to the exact wall dimensions — with face frames and trim that look like original architecture, not an afterthought.
Why Built-ins Beat Freestanding Furniture
Idaho Falls homes — especially the older neighborhoods and mid-century ranches — often have spaces that don't accommodate standard furniture dimensions. Hallways that are too narrow for a console table. Living room walls with an off-center window. Bonus rooms with sloped ceilings. Built-ins are designed for the exact space they occupy, which is why they look like they belong.
- Built to your wall dimensions Every inch of the wall gets used — no filler gaps, no awkward spacing on either side of a bookcase that's 2" too narrow.
- Looks like original architecture We match your existing trim profiles, base moulding, and door styles so the built-in looks like it was always there.
- Solid wood construction No MDF that swells and delaminates, no particle board that sags under book weight. Solid wood face frames and quality cabinet boxes built to last.
- Soft-close hardware throughout Every door and drawer closes quietly and stays aligned. No slamming, no drooping hinges after a few years of use.

Built-in Storage FAQs
What rooms can you build built-ins in?
Any room. We've built storage solutions in living rooms, dining rooms, bedrooms, home offices, hallways, mudrooms, laundry rooms, garages, basements, and bonus rooms. If there's a wall, we can likely do something useful with it. The consultation is the right place to explore what's possible in a specific space.
How is pricing determined for a built-in project?
Pricing depends on the size of the project, the wood species or finish chosen, the number of doors and drawers, and the complexity of the design. A simple floating shelf unit runs much less than a full floor-to-ceiling bookcase wall with face frames and trim. We provide a written itemized quote after the consultation, so you know exactly what you're getting and what it costs before anything is built.
How long does a built-in project take from start to finish?
Most built-in projects take 5–8 weeks from signed quote to installation. The design phase takes 1–2 weeks, shop build time is typically 3–5 weeks, and installation at your Idaho Falls home usually takes 1–3 days depending on the size of the project. Because our shop is local, we can often schedule the install quickly once the piece is ready.
Can you match the built-in to my existing trim or paint?
Yes. Matching existing trim profiles is a standard part of what we do. We can replicate your current base moulding, casing, and crown profiles so the built-in looks original to the home. For painted finishes, we match to your existing paint color — bring the can or the color code and we'll get it right.
